Beware of Cities, Counties, and School Districts implementing ‘Sustainability Plans.’
The United Nations, which birthed the global ‘sustainable development’ scheme known as Agenda 21 (now renamed Agenda 2030), defines ‘Sustainability’ as “meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
On the surface, ‘sustainability plans’ seem harmless, but reading the entire plan of Agenda 2030 and ‘sustainable development’ from the United Nations website exposes their plan to, among numerous attacks on American sovereignty, use ‘sustainability development’ to implement ESG. ESG or Environmental Social Governance aims to force companies and organizations to adopt Green New Deal policies, leftist social ‘equity’ policies, and ‘diversity’ hiring on their board of directors.
The number of people that don’t know or don’t believe Agenda 2030 is real, is startling; especially since many of its action plans are already being implemented in cities across the country. See for yourself. Read about the United Nation’s Agenda 2030 ‘Sustainable development’ on their own website: https://sdgs.un.org/2030agenda
Agenda 21, now renamed Agenda 2030, is a nonbinding resolution the United Nations passed at the 1992 “Earth Summit” in Rio de Janeiro. It was signed by more than 170 countries, including the U.S. It is a 100-page catalog of proposals designed to encourage nations to use fewer resources, combat urban sprawl and conserve open space. By the way, ‘open space’ includes your private property.
Ted Cruz warned against Agenda 21 and its deceiving ‘sustainable development’ plan. He said, “It will result in the demise of single-family homes, farming and ranching, personal cars, and the American way of life. It’s ostensibly to promote sustainable development and it manifests at the local level in all sorts of initiatives that seek to undermine property rights and undermine our economic liberty.”
The Republican Party issued a dire warning about this “destructive and insidious” plan. A document approved by the Republican National Committee on January 13, 2012, warns of “a comprehensive plan of extreme environmentalism, social engineering and global political control,” as well as “socialist/communist redistribution of wealth.”
In Texas, the Republican Party of Texas Platform states, “The United States is a sovereign nation founded on the principles of freedom. We reject any assertion of authority over our nation or its citizens from foreign individuals or entities, such as the World Economic Forum, World Health Organization, and the United Nations. We reject the concept of a One World Government or The Great Reset.”
The Republican Party of Texas Platform also states, “The United Nations is a detriment to the sovereignty of the United States and other countries; because of this we support: The rejection of all Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030 policies and programs.”
The tentacles of the United Nations Agenda 2030 and ‘sustainable development’ prey on the uninformed and have stretched across America into every level of government – including counties, cities, and school boards.
